The essentials: RH RESOLVE, a human resources firm in Maputo, is looking for a Human Resources Consultant with 5 years of experience to coordinate the areas of HR, legalizations, compliance, and training — for the company and for the firm's clients. Deadline: October 10, 2026, listed under the "Applications until" field in the notice. Channel: candidaturas@rhesolve.co.mz, with verified MX, subject «Consultor(a) de RH».
The role covers three fronts simultaneously. The first is full-scale personnel management. Recruitment, selection, onboarding, and integration of employees. Employment contracts, individual files, attendance, leave, and holidays. And the performance evaluation process, including proposals for development and recognition measures.
The second front is legalization and regulatory compliance. Incorporating and registering companies, NUIT, statutory amendments. And keeping the company and employees compliant with INSS, the Tax Authority, the Ministry of Labour, and Public Registries — the selected candidate is well acquainted with these processes and knows how to manage them on a daily basis.
The third front is training. Diagnosing client training needs, organizing activities, liaising with trainers and training institutions. And conducting training in the areas of HR, labor law, and legal compliance when required.
It is for someone who has spent time solving real HR problems in the Mozambican business context and understands the Labour Law as well as commercial, tax, and social security legislation. A minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources, with proven experience in legalization, compliance, and training, is the baseline for the position.
The personal profile requires rigor, organization, and adherence to deadlines, along with ethics and discretion in handling sensitive information. As the role involves employee data and relations with public institutions, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills matter as much as technical knowledge.
Two points, as written in the advertisement: fluency in English is preferred and trainer certification is an advantage, not a requirement — candidates who possess it will be valued. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
The employment type and salary range are not specified — RH RESOLVE does not publish remuneration details, so salary discussion will only take place during the interview phase, and it is advised to arrive with a clear expectation of the desired compensation for the role.
Additionally, the job entails ensuring ongoing, non-occasional compliance of the company and employees with official entities. This includes preparing and following up on registration and amendment processes, handling filing deadlines, and resolving pending matters with institutions. The job posting is clear: experience dealing with these institutions is a direct requirement, not merely desirable.
In the field of training, the selected person must also diagnose needs, liaise with external trainers and institutions, and, if necessary, directly conduct training sessions on HR, labor law, and legal compliance. Trainer certification is a valued advantage, but not a prerequisite — candidates possessing it will be viewed favorably.
Candidates should take note that only shortlisted applicants will be contacted. The advertisement does not state salary or salary range, so salary expectations can only be aligned in direct discussion during the interview stage.
