What you will do

On a day-to-day basis, responsibilities cover both support tiers:

• Provide technical support to local and remote users, in level 1 and level 2 support.
• Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity incidents, ranging from simple network faults to equipment failures.
• Support the installation, maintenance, and diagnosis of IT infrastructure, including networks, communications equipment, and support systems.
• Ensure all incidents and support requests are logged and tracked, so that every case is documented with a full history.
• Comply with security procedures and IT best practices applicable to the project context.

The work combines desktop/helpdesk duties — user support, terminal configuration, driver reinstallation — with infrastructure tasks: testing the network, identifying the source of a connectivity incident, and coordinating the fix.

All this in a project environment, working alongside local and international teams. The right person for this role needs to be someone who can read a network problem, document what they did, and keep daily services running smoothly, even with teams distributed between the field and the office.
