Who we are looking for

We are looking for a test analyst with hands-on experience in software test automation and a genuine interest in working in a demanding banking environment, where system quality directly affects customer trust.

This is someone comfortable in an Agile, cross-disciplinary setting, who communicates well with developers, business analysts and project managers, and treats system quality as part of the daily job.

The vacancy encourages applications from women and from people with special needs.

What you will do day to day

• Build and maintain the team's test-automation infrastructure, with a focus on reusability and easy long-term maintenance.
• Write and evolve test routines for functional, regression, integration and API scenarios, covering the most sensitive product flows.
• Work with developers to create test components (stubs and drivers) that make test execution faster and more stable.
• Verify test-environment readiness before each cycle and surface risks or issues early.
• Help estimate user stories during iteration planning, flagging complex scenarios and edge cases.
• Prepare and maintain test data sets — creation, reuse, availability and upkeep.
• Keep a library of reusable test scenarios, aligned with agreed acceptance criteria.
• Share learnings on automated testing across the team's shared platforms, driving continuous improvement.
• Track and report automation metrics: coverage, execution rate, test stability, defects found and reduction of manual effort.
• Embed automated tests in continuous integration and delivery pipelines, with automatic execution during builds and releases.
• Log and escalate defects, analyse root causes and propose the right fixes for each issue.

What we offer

• A full-time role in Maputo, at one of Mozambique's leading banks.
• Direct involvement in banking-technology projects, within a group that is a reference in Africa.
• Work in cross-disciplinary Agile teams, with a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous evolution.
• Salary commensurate with the experience and responsibilities of the role. The vacancy does not state a pay band — to be agreed during the selection process.
