Who we are looking for

Someone with a degree in statistics or social sciences, 1 to 3 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation, and a willingness to work in the field. The role requires coordination with the government, SDSMAS, health facilities, and internal Malaria Consortium teams, as well as availability to travel between the program's target districts.

What you will do day-to-day

You will provide operational support to the monitoring and evaluation plan of the Mozambique malaria program (SMC). The work combines field and office work, and the impact directly influences the data that feeds program decisions.

• Support the implementation of the Mozambique malaria program (SMC) monitoring and evaluation plan, from survey design to final analysis.
• Collect, organize, and verify data quality, keeping the database updated and auditable. Quality surveillance is one of the central objectives of the M&E plan.
• Support district health teams in using data for their daily decisions. The ultimate goal is for program indicators to be reflected in concrete actions by field teams.
• Monitor end-of-cycle surveys and program collection rounds, from execution to report delivery.
• Coordinate with SDSMAS, health facilities, and Malaria Consortium logistics and support teams so that data and reports are delivered on time and contribute to program decisions.
• Contribute to periodic program reports, ensuring that data is complete, on time, and supports performance monitoring.
