Who we are looking for

We are looking for someone rigorous with numbers who handles tight deadlines and sensitive information well. The job involves managing the monthly payroll for the TEMMOC and SAMCOL entities: here, an error has an immediate cost, and the right candidate is one who approaches each payroll methodically, checks controls, and clearly explains pay items to those entitled to an answer.

Day-to-day responsibilities

• Prepare and process the monthly payroll for TEMMOC and SAMCOL entities, with accuracy and on time.
• Validate input data: hires, terminations, salary adjustments, allowances, overtime, bonuses, deductions, leave, and attendance.
• Perform pre- and post-payroll checks, investigate variances, and maintain clear approval records.
• Reconcile monthly payroll results with Accounting and resolve discrepancies prior to accounting closure.
• Ensure timely payment of salaries, taxes, social security contributions, and payroll-related obligations.
• Prepare and submit statutory declarations and reports, including IRPS, INSS, NUIT, and INE requirements.
• Maintain complete, accurate, and confidential employee records in physical and digital formats.
• Ensure data consistency across HR4U, Power Pay, and other HR information systems.
• Manage employee banking documentation and coordinate payment files with approved banking partners.
• Prepare journal entries, provisions, cost allocations, and supporting schedules for Accounting; produce reports, dashboards, headcount analyses, leave balances, and overtime reports.
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes for employees, including final settlements; prepare job offers, contracts, amendments, and payroll-related letters.
• Manage retirement processes and coordinate statutory benefit documentation; support salary surveys and market remuneration benchmarking.
• Coordinate immigration and legalisation processes for expatriates, including work permits and visas; support internal and external payroll audits.
• Monitor payroll service indicators — accuracy, timeliness, query resolution, and legal compliance — and support HR projects and campaigns, including continuity support during absences and system outages.
