The position provides operational and administrative support to procurement and fleet management activities at Bureau Veritas in Maputo. You will report to the procurement coordinator, with a 40-hour weekly workload on a full-time basis (internal reference 215419).

Your work is divided into two main areas: supporting the procurement of goods and services and ensuring the operational management of the vehicle fleet. The main key performance indicator in this role is the effective implementation of the stock management system.

What you will do

Your daily duties involve managing purchasing processes, vehicle maintenance, document archiving, and compliance with quality, health, safety, and environmental standards. Specifically, you will be responsible for the following activities:

• Implement the inventory management system and standardize the company's list of consumables, as well as execute other tasks delegated by coordination.
• Ensure support for the procurement of goods and services from the initial request to final archiving, adhering to all defined internal procedures.
• Ensure vehicles remain operational, in good working condition, and legally compliant by organizing maintenance and repairs promptly.
• Work alongside the finance department to organize requests for tax clearance certificates and deliver these certificates and vehicle ownership documents to the bank.
• Keep physical and digital archives related to certificates and procurement processes organized and updated.
• Apply and comply with the Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) requirements of the Bureau Veritas group and its clients.
• Dispose of waste responsibly and report any environmental incidents immediately to management.
• Actively participate in emergency drills and comply with specific client safety rules.
• Record environmental impacts and aspects related to your work area.
• Identify hazards and risks and report them directly to the SHEQ department.
• Verify the correct use and assembly of the company's portable electrical equipment.
• Keep access routes clear in workspaces and report all incidents and accidents without delay.
• Ensure a high standard of cleanliness in workspaces, following internal procedures and taking care of your health and safety while working.
