Receptionist — Servtec SBM (Maputo & Nampula)

The opportunity

Servtec SBM is recruiting two (2) Receptionists for Maputo and Nampula — to reinforce its front-desk areas. Anyone who has been through a well-run reception knows the difference it makes: it is the first voice on the phone and the first face the client,

the supplier or the partner meets, and much of the relationship with the company depends on that first impression. If you have a knack for dealing with people, the organisation to juggle several tasks at once and pride in a job well done, this could be your way in.

What you will do

The daily routine of this role revolves around the front desk and first-line service:

• Receiving and directing visitors, clients and partners arriving at the premises;
• Answering telephone calls and forwarding them to the right recipients;
• Managing incoming correspondence, documents and communications;
• Supporting the organisation of the team's calendars and meetings;
• Providing administrative support to the team whenever needed;
• Keeping the reception area organised, functional and professional-looking;
• Logging and forwarding requests from visitors and clients;
• Ensuring efficient, courteous service at all equipas.

Who we are looking for

Servtec SBM draws a complete profile: secondary or higher education in fields such as Administration, Secretarial Studies or Management, and prior experience in reception, customer service or secretarial work.

That background lets you arrive and deliver without a long adjustment period. On the skills side, the company is looking for someone who communicates well and relates easily to different people, presents themselves well and keeps a courteous posture day to day,

masters the essentials of computing — Microsoft Office above all — and combines organisation, an eye for detail and a knack for handling several tasks at the same equipa. On languages, fluent Portuguese is required; knowing English counts in your favour. Closing the profile: professionalism, discretion and responsibility in carrying out tasks — three qualities that at a reception desk are not optional, they are the foundation of everything.
