Solidarités International has been present in Mozambique since March 2019, when it arrived to support the response to Cyclone Idai. In 2021, with the escalation of the crisis in Cabo Delgado, it established operations in Mueda and expanded to the northern districts — Nangade, Muidumbe, Palma and, more recently, Mocímboa da Praia.
Today, the organisation operates its coordination office in Pemba, with operational bases in Mueda and Mocímboa da Praia, and also works in the districts of Metuge, Chiúre, Mecúfi and Ancuabe. In 2024–2025, the programme focused on the Rapid Response Mechanism, WASH, Food Security and Livelihoods (FSL) and Shelter/NFI; in 2026, work continues with support from donors such as ECHO, SDC, CDCS, OCHA, IFSAN and UNICEF.
The organisation has a zero-tolerance policy towards all forms of abuse, fraud and corruption — and never requests money at any stage of its recruitment process.
We are looking for someone with a passion for the behind-the-scenes work that makes a programme visible and accountable. This is a role for someone who is not deterred by deadlines, key dates and document versions: you will initiate report writing, help teams consolidate missing sections and handle final submissions — then repeat the process for proposals and donor communications requirements.
This is a liaison role connecting field programme teams, support teams, headquarters and donors themselves. If you can manage multiple priorities simultaneously without losing accuracy, this is the right place for you.
The job posting notes that this list is not exhaustive: your line manager may define other compatible tasks.
Send your application to Pol.recruitment@solidarites-mozambique.org. The email subject line is flexible; a clear suggestion is "Application — RCO (Reporting and Communications Officer) — Pemba". The posting does not publish a list of required documents; standard practice is to send your CV. Deadline: 16 September 2026.
Two important notices, as stated by the organisation: Solidarités International charges no fees to applicants, and any attempt at bribery leads to automatic disqualification from the process — if anything of this nature occurs, the source advises contacting the organisation's administration department directly. Candidate selection and contact are the responsibility of the organisation; on Inademy you create a free profile and receive job alerts via email and WhatsApp.
