The Government of Mozambique has received financing from the World Bank for the Transport Corridor for Economic Resilience project (TRACER SOP2). Part of these resources is intended for the recruitment of individual consulting services.

The selection process complies with the conflict of interest rules described in paragraphs 3.14, 3.16, and 3.17 of the World Bank Procurement Regulations for Investment Project Financing Borrowers (September 2025).
In this individual consultancy position, you will provide high-level economic and financial advice to the project management unit and the Ministry of Transport and Logistics.
The focus of your work is to strengthen the State's capacity to evaluate, negotiate, and monitor the economic performance of transport and logistics corridor concessions in the country.
Your activities aim at three main objectives:
You will also collaborate directly with the National Institute of Statistics (INE) in preparing the future transport and logistics satellite account, which will periodically measure the sector's contribution to the national gross domestic product (GDP).
The role is based in Maputo under an individual consultancy contract.
There is a 3-month probationary period starting from the contract signature date, with renewal contingent upon performance evaluation.
In this role, you will report directly to the Project Coordinator at UCP/MTL.
