About the role

Noble Unicom is looking to reinforce its Human Resources structure in Maputo with a senior professional, responsible for managing the department within the company.

In practice, you will lead the Human Resources team and ensure that all personnel processes — from recruitment to payroll processing and labor relations — are organized, updated, and in compliance with legislation.

You will need to lead by example: teams follow the pace, consistency, and communication style you set for the department day to day.

Daily responsibilities

• Lead the Human Resources team, set department priorities, and give pace and direction to each member's work, coordinating expectations for each employee.
• Implement and maintain internal Human Resources policies and procedures, ensuring internal rules are established, up to date, and followed by all teams.
• Monitor performance, training, and professional development of employees through regular evaluations and continuous follow-up over time.
• Manage payroll processing and ensure the correct application of deductions, perks, and benefits specified for each employee category, with attention to deadlines and payout accuracy.
• Supervise recruitment and personnel administration, from defining candidate profiles and conducting selection to onboarding and follow-up with new hires.
• Manage labor relations between the company and employees and ensure compliance with Mozambican labor legislation, maintaining knowledge of legal obligations so the company complies in all personnel decisions.
