The role and function

In this position, you will act as a direct link between strategic planning and operational execution on the ground.

Your main focus will be translating formal governance guidelines and the bank's annual targets into operational work plans that teams can execute.

You will track the entire lifecycle of programs, from the initial design phase to formal closure, ensuring reliable information to support management decisions.

What you will do

Your daily responsibilities in the PMO Office include the following management and monitoring activities:

• Manage portfolio and strategic program topics in daily collaboration with the remaining office team members.
• Analyze and interpret the bank's Strategic Plan, understanding governance, institutional guidelines, and targets set for each year.
• Transform global strategy into concrete portfolio priorities, ensuring that each initiative brings effective business value.
• Classify and categorize projects, initiatives, and small operational developments.
• Operationalize project selection, approval, and prioritization processes based on value, risk, and available resources.
• Track procurement processes, such as RFPs, RFIs, and PRQs, as well as internal evaluations for hiring implementation vendors.
• Keep project pipelines updated in terms of typology, coding, sponsor/lead, designation, priority, status, and contracted vendors.
• Produce regular reports on projects and initiatives registered in the pipeline.
• Monitor portfolio reporting metrics, tracking deadlines, costs, resources, risks, rescheduling, and replanning.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and dependencies early on to align work progress with strategic goals.
• Prepare technical information and supporting reports for Management, committees, and internal working groups.
• Provide direct support in designing and executing the bank's annual investment budget.
• Evaluate real business results and impacts following the closure of strategic projects and programs.
• Apply project management methodologies and tools within the office and keep internal documentation updated.
• Facilitate joint work and collaboration among teams using agile methodologies.
• Contribute to the implementation of change management plans across their strategic and operational aspects.
• Exchange experiences and best working practices with peer areas belonging to shareholder-owned companies.

Who we are looking for

This role is intended for someone who knows how to assess priorities, analyze risks, and focus attention on business value.

It is necessary to transition easily between strategy defined on paper and its practical application in the organization's daily routine.

You will work in direct contact with the Bank's Management, management committees, working groups, and operational teams.

You should be comfortable raising bottlenecks or deviations early, using concrete data and facts to support communication.
