Technician (4 vacancies) — Municipal Council of Maxixe City

The Municipal Council of Maxixe City is recruiting 4 technicians for the municipality's staff, pursuant to the dispatch of October 8, 2026, and article 34 of Law No. 4/2022 of February 11 (General Statute of State Employees and Agents). The application deadline ends on November 7, 2026.

The 4 vacancies are distributed across two activity areas: 1 vacancy in Social Communication and 3 vacancies in the Administrative/Technical area. Choose the area that corresponds to your background: for a communication profile, the Social Communication vacancy; for a technical or administrative profile, one of the 3 Administrative/Technical vacancies.

Documentary evaluation verifies whether your qualification and specific certification match the nature and requirements of the duties in the area you are applying for. Confirm before submitting whether your specialization is in Social Communication or Administrative/Technical, as the evaluation is based on this correspondence.

To apply, you must meet the requirements of article 18 of the EGFAE. You must have Mozambican nationality, NUIT, be 18 years of age or older (provided this age allows you to complete at least 180 retirement contributions), mental sanity and physical capacity compatible with the activity, and not have been retired.

For the Technician career, the minimum educational qualification is the completion of the 12th grade, with a specific qualification. In other words, in addition to the education level, you must have a specialization corresponding to the area you are applying for, either Social Communication or Administrative/Technical.

Having experience in the field is an advantage in the evaluation. It is not a mandatory requirement, but candidates with relevant practical experience in the role will be in a better position in the competition's scoring criteria.

Upon application, you must submit a notarized application addressed to the President of the Municipal Council of Maxixe City, indicating the career and activity area you are applying for. Along with it, submit notarized photocopies of your Identity Card or Birth Registration Certificate, your qualification certificate, and an updated CV.

You must also submit a photocopy of your NUIT, criminal record certificate, medical certificate, military service document, residence certificate, and a notarized declaration under oath confirming that you meet the requirements for entering Public Administration.

The selection process has three stages: documentary evaluation, written test, and professional interview. The process is governed by article 16 of Ministerial Diploma No. 61/2000 of July 5. The interview evaluates practical experience, professional demeanor, communication skills, sense of responsibility, and knowledge of the duties to be performed.

Before heading to the General Secretariat, check the list of documents and confirm they are notarized. An incomplete application may not be considered, so bring the originals and notarized copies in order.

Applications must be submitted at the General Secretariat of the Municipal Council of Maxixe City, from Monday to Friday, between 7:30 AM and 3:30 PM, starting from the date of publication of the notice. Bring the originals and notarized copies of all documents on the list.

The competition is valid for 3 years, starting from the publication of the final classification list in the Boletim da República. Within this period, approved candidates and alternates may be admitted according to the municipality's needs.
