Who we are looking for

This role is for someone who edits video and loves seeing it on screen: television programs, reports, and commercials. We are looking for someone who knows how to take a piece from start to finalization — image, audio, subtitles, and effects — without losing the broadcaster's visual standard.

The work takes place under pressure and with tight deadlines; someone who meets deadlines even during high-volume weeks, and fixes a cut or mismatched audio seamlessly, is a great fit for this position.

Day-to-day responsibilities

• Edit television programs, reports, and commercials;
• Adjust image, audio, subtitles, and visual effects in each piece;
• Create intro/outro graphics and visual elements whenever production requires;
• Ensure that the final material follows the broadcaster's visual standard;
• Meet delivery deadlines, even under high workload volumes.

What you will produce

The role consists of editing television content, reports, programs, and commercials, ensuring high technical and aesthetic quality. Whoever joins this position takes ownership of the full cycle of each piece: assembly, image and sound adjustments, subtitles, effects, and finalization, so that the product aligns with the broadcaster's standard.

The role requires creativity and editing experience: the desired profile is someone with a proven track record in video editing, not entry-level.

What we offer

• Salary: to be agreed with the company (undisclosed).
• Full-time regime, with an open-ended contract;
• Work base in Maputo City;
• Direct work in the group's audiovisual production: television, reports, and advertising.

How to apply

Application is through a single channel: the official form on the group's careers page.

The form requests personal details (first name, surname, email, date of birth, and phone number), contact details (address and city), academic level, and documents. When submitting, confirm that the position title is correct: Video Editor (Editor(a) de Vídeos), for Maputo City.

Practical tips before submitting

• Prepare your CV in PDF or JPG and cover letter in advance; the form accepts a single file for the resume.
• Review the responsibilities and confirm that your video editing experience — preferably for television — matches what the position requires.
• In the academic level field, choose the degree you actually hold; the form lists options for primary/basic, bachelor's, master's, and doctorate, in addition to "other".
• Submit your application well before the September 29 deadline; applicants submitting in the final days risk missing the deadline.
