Solidarités International is an international humanitarian action organization present for over 40 years in territories affected by armed conflict and natural disasters, responding to essential needs for food, water, and shelter.

In Mozambique since 2019, it executes emergency and post-emergency programs in the WASH sector — access to safe drinking water, sanitation, and hygiene promotion — with the bulk of its intervention in Cabo Delgado.

What you will do

The role is based on-site in Chiúre, with regular field visits. Take responsibility for the project cycles assigned to you, from design to closure, as well as for the quality and timely execution of activities.

• Contribute to the definition of the multi-year strategy, annual review, and programming based on evidence gathered from project cycles.
• Participate in conducting situation analyses and needs assessments, as well as the financial, human, and logistical design of projects.
• Collect and analyze data to identify protection risks and propose mitigation measures.
• Draft technical sections of proposals and modifications, including logical frameworks and annexes.
• Plan and supervise implementation, liaising with the MEAL, administrative, finance, human resources, logistics, and security departments.
• Ensure the integration of cross-cutting themes — environment and climate, protection, public health, and market-based approaches.
• Conduct regular field visits and lead the project learning cycle.
• Draft and submit internal reports and donor reports on time.
• Represent the organization in meetings and forums and maintain the local communication network with authorities and civil society.
• Manage the team: recruit, onboard, evaluate performance, and train staff under your responsibility.

Conditions

This is a programme management position involving field work, on an on-site basis in Chiúre. There is 1 position available.
