Fundação Ariel Glaser implements the FADM READY project in Mozambique, funded by the United States Government through its Department of War, in partnership with the Mozambican Armed Defense Forces (FADM). The objective is to strengthen resilient and sustainable military health systems. In this project, you will be based in Maputo, with travel as needed, and be responsible for financial processing, recording, and compliance.
Processing and recording — Process and record project financial transactions; perform account reconciliations; prepare payments; keep financial documentation organized and compliant with applicable rules; support the preparation of reports and financial statements.
Budget and compliance — Support budget execution and cash management; keep Management informed in a timely manner regarding the project's financial position to support decision-making; ensure compliance with accounting and internal control requirements; support internal and external audits; identify continuous improvement opportunities in the project's financial processes.
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Management, with at least three years of experience and proficiency in Excel. You will work on a project funded by an international donor, within a multicultural team, with regular contact with the donor's team.
Considered an asset: experience in projects funded by the United States Government, PEPFAR, DoW/DHAPP, or other international donors. Fluency in Portuguese and good working knowledge of English are valued for this position. The Foundation encourages applications from women.
Based in Maputo, with travel as required. You will join the FADM READY project team, collaborating directly with FADM and the funder, the United States Government.
