What you will do day-to-day

Your daily responsibilities in the electrical maintenance of cranes and associated equipment include:

• Ensure safety and discipline in the work area where you intervene.
• Perform electrical maintenance of cranes and associated equipment, identifying breakdowns and conducting continuous monitoring.
• Work on diagnostics and repairs to maintain the operational availability of cranes at the maximum level.
• Submit inspection and monitoring reports within defined deadlines and timeframes.
• Respond autonomously to breakdown calls and report all occurrences to management.
• Take responsibility for crane maintenance during the supervisor's absence.
• Follow up emergency work through to complete closure, complying with company safety standards.
• Execute electrical preventive maintenance according to the system, coordinate the creation of work orders with the planner, and record start and end times for each intervention.
• Obtain supervisor approval before submitting any purchase requisition.
• Keep the workshop as well as team tools and equipment properly clean and organized.

What you will learn and find

In this position, you will work directly on the electrical operation of cranes at the port of Maputo. You will handle preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repairs on large-scale industrial equipment.

The role provides hands-on experience in interventions ranging from motors and braking systems to reading and interpreting specialized technical documentation in an industrial environment.
