The MASC Foundation — Civil Society Support Mechanism — has been working since 2007 alongside communities, government, civil society organisations, and businesses to ensure governance works and development reaches everyone. It does this by awarding grants to local initiatives, training community organisations, and running its own programmes across several provinces. Now, it is opening two positions for a project in Palma district, Cabo Delgado: one to coordinate the cultural heritage component and another to manage human rights at the district level.
These are distinct roles with separate selection processes — each has its own requirements and application subject line. The duty station is Palma district, with regular travel to communities across the project area. Read both descriptions carefully and apply for the one that best fits your profile; making the right choice at the start saves everyone weeks. In the email subject line, use the official job title exactly as published by the Foundation.
In both positions, the work lives between the community and the computer. One day you are in a meeting in Palma listening; on another, those voices turn into a report that partners will read and use. You enjoy working with people and don't mind that the road and the field notebook are part of the same week.
Anyone who knows Cabo Delgado knows that the sensitivity with which each story and each right is handled is part of the trade. Information about culture and rights is treated with respect, consent, and discretion — always. If this is how you usually work, you will fit right in with a team that measures success by the quality of tasks, fulfillment of the plan, and the strength of engagement with communities.

Deadline: 14 September 2026. Apply for a single position — the one that matches your background and experience. The Foundation advises in advance: only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. Before writing your letter, the application letter guide shows you the structure evaluators expect; and the complete 2026 CV guide prepares the document that opens your application.
Important notice: neither the MASC Foundation nor Inademy charge any fees to receive applications. If anyone demands money to submit your application or promises you the job, it is a scam — refuse and report it.
