It has been in Mozambique since 2019, with emergency and post-emergency programs in Cabo Delgado. The Mueda base is one of the organization's hubs of operation in the field.

What you will do

You will be the focal point for the Mueda base for all administrative, accounting, financial, and personnel management. The role is divided into two areas that you will manage simultaneously.

Human Resources

• Maintain relations with local administrative authorities and represent SI in labor disputes.
• Communicate HR procedures to staff and organize corresponding briefing meetings.
• Update the monthly organigram and analyze the base's HR data.
• Ensure compliance with recruitment and hiring procedures and conduct induction sessions.
• Ensure performance evaluations and follow up on disciplinary procedures.
• Supervise the HR Assistant in payroll processing and verify the output before sending it to coordination.
• Manage contracts, individual personnel files, and HR archives.

Finance

• Be responsible for the base's accounting, verifying cash and bank balances.
• Ensure tax declarations and payments, as well as due contributions.
• Perform monthly account closures and submit them to coordination.
• Manage cash flow, fund transfers, and fund security.
• Update and analyze budget tracking jointly with other departments.
• Ensure compliance with donor procedures, support the production of financial reports, and accompany audits.

Conditions

Work is on-site at the Mueda base, Cabo Delgado. Remuneration was not disclosed by SI.
