What you will do

The role is organized into four main pillars, all linked to the management and execution of the HSE system in the project:

• Lead, monitor, and maintain up to date the HSE management system, covering all project activities.
• Track HSE performance through KPIs and reports, with accurate evaluation against defined project goals.
• Conduct regular HSE inspections and audits, identify non-conformities, and create opportunities for improvement.
• Help design and implement an effective, field-applicable emergency response plan.
• Participate in pre-commissioning, planning, and contractor meetings, providing guidance on HSE matters and following up on agreements made.
• Provide regular status updates and reports to the Project Manager.
• Guide local workers on safety practices.

You will communicate directly with the Project Manager and contractors — this is a role with presence on the ground and in decision-making meetings.

Candidate profile

They are looking for someone who feels comfortable supervising field operations and sitting down with a contractor to halt risky practices. Reading KPIs, conducting audits, and sharpening focus where goals demand are part of your daily routine.

Traveling to remote and challenging locations does not scare you. You will work across different cultures and alongside local communities, with a genuine ability to lead and train teams.
