Day-to-day responsibilities

• Support the preparation of the Annual Internal Audit Plan, identifying high-risk processes that deserve priority.
• Plan audit assignments: understand the process, identify risks and controls, prepare procedures and information requests.
• Execute detailed process reviews, control tests, substantive procedures, sample reviews, and data analyses across operational, financial, regulatory, and technological banking processes.
• Prepare clear, cross-referenced, and reproducible working papers containing the evidence obtained and the basis for each conclusion.
• Analyze exceptions, determine root causes and potential impacts, and draft objective findings with practical, risk-based recommendations.
• Discuss preliminary observations professionally, confirm factual accuracy, and escalate significant issues, access restrictions, delays, or scope limitations.
• Follow up on assigned audit findings, evaluate evidence of corrective actions, and escalate overdue, recurring, or inadequately resolved situations.
• Support authorized investigations, ad-hoc checks, and branch reviews, preserving confidentiality and evidence integrity.
• Execute everything in compliance with the Internal Audit Charter, methodology, bank policies, and applicable professional standards.
