Day-to-day work, across four fronts

The work is divided into four interconnected areas.

1. IT strategy, budget, and roadmap

• Builds and manages the subsidiary's annual IT budget with cost discipline, and prepares the department's expenditure reporting, including costs allocated to other business units;
• Leads and consolidates the Five-Year IT Plan alongside the subsidiary's strategic plan and roadmap;
• Liaises with HQ IT counterparts, communicating strategies and updates to business units;
• Identifies the subsidiary's "Digital Champion" and coordinates the implementation of new solutions following Agile methodology.

2. Cybersecurity

• Supervises the subsidiary's L-ECSO, the function that manages enterprise IT risk and applies HQ directives;
• Ensures the disaster recovery plan in complement to the subsidiary's business continuity plan;
• Confirms that the subsidiary's cybersecurity organization is fit for purpose;
• Ensures data quality in the CMDB for enterprise and industrial IT assets, and oversees obsolescence management.

3. Compliance, audit, and SOX

• Supervises the IT governance framework, ensuring department policies and procedures comply with defined SLAs;
• Leads the IT audit plan and oversees the resulting improvement actions;
• Coordinates IT SOX controls and represents the department in internal, external, and SOX audits;
• Acts as a SOX control owner: executes, evidences, and documents assigned controls.

4. Projects and change management

• Ensures the proper kickoff of department projects within the subsidiary and applies local and HQ governance rules to each;
• Keeps the local project portfolio aligned with the validated IT roadmap;
• Implements change management plans from project launch phases onward;
• Develops and regularly updates department performance indicators.
