Key details: National Logistics Manager position at Handicap International / Humanity & Inclusion (HI), based in Maputo or Pemba, application deadline October 20, 2026. Send your application by email to recrutamento@mozambique.hi.org, with the subject “National Logistics Manager – Maputo/Pemba”.
Handicap International (HI) is an independent and impartial international organization working in contexts of poverty, exclusion, conflict, and disaster, alongside people with disabilities and other vulnerable populations. Present in Mozambique since 1986, HI implements programs in inclusion, rehabilitation, inclusive education, health, livelihoods, disaster risk reduction, and emergency response.
The National Logistics Manager role puts you on the front line of operations: you will lead the supply chain, fleet, equipment, and general services for HI's entire program in Mozambique. You will report to the Regional Logistics Manager and maintain a functional link with the Country Director for daily program coordination.
We are looking for someone who combines operational rigor with a genuine sense of responsibility: someone capable of keeping the logistics of a humanitarian program running smoothly even when the terrain is difficult and donor requirements are tight. This is a team leadership role involving regular contact with partners, clusters, and senior management.
You will travel regularly to intervention sites in Maputo and Pemba. Compensation is not published in the job posting: terms will be agreed upon with HI during the process.
You will manage the logistics of a program spanning multiple districts within a humanitarian and institutional context, funded by leading donors. It is an opportunity to grow within an international organization with a 40-year footprint in Mozambique, working alongside project and support service teams, and gaining end-to-end supply chain vision in an emergency setting.
Send your application and updated CV by email to recrutamento@mozambique.hi.org, with the subject “National Logistics Manager – Maputo/Pemba”.
