Banco Letshego is hiring an Operational Risk Officer at its head office in Maputo, on-site, full-time. The process reference is 019/BL/PC/2026. No pay figures appear in the ad: the salary is in line with experience and the role.
Banco Letshego SA is the banking subsidiary of the Letshego Holdings Limited group, a financial structure operating in more than 11 African countries, with around 20 years of presence on the continent.
In Mozambique, the bank is the group's local subsidiary. The Operational Risk Officer joins the head-office team, directly involved in how the bank identifies and controls the risk coming from its own operations.
The post exists so that operational risk — the one coming from internal processes, people and systems — stops being handled at the last minute. In the role, you will bring the operational risk management structure to life: policies, practices and governance at enterprise level, from risk identification to mitigation and control.
The post is for someone at ease dealing with risk across people: the decision-makers at the top of the bank, the day-to-day operators and the regulators on the outside. The role mixes process discipline with frank conversation: reports that leave no room for ambiguity, and business areas that must be heard before any change.
It suits someone who likes method and watching things move step by step, no shortcuts. Everything the ad demands — studies, experience and toolkits — lives in the Requirements block, directly below.
Inademy does not track the selection stages — that belongs to Letshego. What the platform offers is the free profile and the alerts for new vacancies; the record of this application goes directly through the bank's email below.
With the deadline on 21 September, the process closes early: whoever prepares everything in time sends it in one go, to the bank's email, without waiting around. At Inademy you create your free profile, keep your CV in one place and receive new vacancies by email or WhatsApp.
Two Inademy guides make the documents easier: the CV writing guide, plus the cover letter guide — both useful even if the ad only asks for the CV.
Applications go by email to jobslfsm@letshego.com, with your updated CV. Put the vacancy name and the process reference in the subject line: 019/BL/PC/2026 — Operational Risk Officer. The ad asks for the CV; a short cover letter showing experience in risk or in sensitive projects is a helpful complement.
Deadline: 21 September 2026. The ad requires immediate availability, so anyone who can only start later should keep that in mind before applying.
