ONSR is a Mozambican organization that develops programs and projects with a direct objective: to reduce road accidents in the country and protect lives. The team operates through campaigns, lectures, workshops, and community mobilization activities in educational, corporate, and community settings.
To support this work, ONSR has opened recruitment for fourteen volunteers, a total of positions distributed across several municipalities in the country. Included in the publication list are Beira, Bilene, Chimoio, Dondo, Gondola, Moatize, Montepuez, Nacala-Porto, Nampula city, Pemba, Tete city, and Xai-Xai. If you believe you can help save lives on the roads, this vacancy is for you.
This is an unpaid volunteer position. In return, ONSR guarantees certified training, experience in national-scale projects, and the possibility of joining paid programs within the organization in the future, depending on available funding and individual volunteer performance.
Each volunteer will work in their city or district, in coordination with the ONSR national team, undertaking some of the following activities:
The announcement explicitly invites 12th-grade students and final-year students, university students and recent graduates, young professionals, and retirees — in other words, anyone who has time to contribute.
No professional experience required: ONSR values, above all, commitment, the desire to learn, and the willingness to serve.
Field experience carries more weight than a resume, as a large part of the activities takes place on the ground, in direct contact with communities.
