Diamond Seguros, a subsidiary of First Mutual Holdings LTD in the Mozambican market, is hiring a Senior Claims Technician for its team in Maputo.
This is a key role in the claims department. The successful candidate will analyse, assess and process claims, ensuring every case progresses with the correct documentation and settlements are paid on time. It is a role for someone who understands how insurance works in practice and wants to work in a sector with clear rules, direct contact with policyholders and service providers, and scope for technical growth.
You will work in a dedicated claims team in Maputo, in a sector where procedural rigour and customer service go hand in hand. Your daily work will combine document analysis, interpersonal contact, and deadline-driven decision-making. Every claim is unique, requiring you to explain decisions clearly to all parties involved.
As this is a senior position, you will also mentor junior colleagues: sharing best practices, reviewing work, and ensuring cases are handled correctly first time.
