Fundação Ariel Glaser is implementing the FADM READY project in Mozambique, funded by the United States Government through its Department of War, in partnership with the Armed Defence Forces of Mozambique (FADM). The objective is to strengthen resilient and sustainable military health systems. In this role, you will be based in Maputo, traveling when necessary, and coordinating the personnel department.
Recruitment and contracts — Plan project staffing needs; conduct recruitment and selection processes with transparency, merit, and proper documentation; prepare and review contracts, job descriptions, and other personnel documents.
Personnel management — Maintain updated and confidential individual personnel files and electronic employee records; coordinate onboarding of new employees, leave management, time off, and attendance; support performance evaluations, professional development, and training; collaborate with the finance team on payroll preparation and benefits administration.
Compliance and ethics — Promote policies on ethics, professional conduct, safeguarding, harassment prevention, and conflicts of interest; support labor relations management; provide support for Human Resources audits and verifications; support project leadership; supervise Human Resources and administrative staff, where applicable.
Hands-on experience in people management, comfortable handling labor legislation, contracts, and audits. You will work on a project funded by an international donor, within a multicultural team, with regular contact with the funder's team.
Diligence, confidentiality, integrity, and the ability to meet deadlines matter. Fluency in Portuguese and good communication skills in English are required for this position. The Foundation encourages applications from women.
Based in Maputo, with travel as needed. You will join the FADM READY project team, working in direct collaboration with FADM and the funder, the United States Government.
