About the role

CONTACT is opening, for Maputo, the position of Senior Purchaser (Logistics), reporting directly to the Procurement Manager. The context is the supply chain of the exploration and production (E&P) sector: daily responsibilities include source-to-contract processes, TEPMA1 general terms and conditions for equipment purchasing, and procurement data management in SAP/Unisol.

What you will do day-to-day

• Lead the source-to-contract process for goods, services, and TAS: prepare tender documentation and proposal evaluation procedures, following the company's established procedures;
• Issue contracts and service/purchase orders, coordinating with the technical team (DUET) and cross-functional departments to ensure technical requirements are properly integrated into the tender phase;
• Evaluate contractual proposals and support technical and commercial evaluations; manage the award recommendation report and participate in contract committees when requested; ensure awarded contracts are managed in compliance with agreed contractual terms, protecting the company's interests at all times;
• Manage the closure of the pre-contract phase: notify unsuccessful bidders, archive tender documentation and correspondence, hold interface meetings with recruitment agencies, and manage the TAS portfolio;
• Process purchase requisitions: validate material specifications, budget approvals, and cost centers; propose bidder lists; compare and evaluate offers seeking the most advantageous economic and contractual conditions; keep requisitioners informed during preparation, purchasing, and commitment tracking, in alignment with E&P supply chain fundamentals;
• Organize and lead supplier negotiations regarding award and execution; issue RTAs jointly with partner entities responsible for the request; ensure supplier order acknowledgments and timely deliveries; negotiate changes leading to contract amendments;
• Keep the supplier database updated and record all purchasing data in SAP/Unisol; ensure proper archiving of approvals, justifications, and routing slips so purchasing activities meet audit requirements and minimize potential claims from partners or auditors;
• Comply with the code of conduct, values, policies, and applicable legislation, maintaining confidentiality of information obtained at work;
• Prepare the final contract documentation and secure the required validations ahead of signature.
