TotalEnergies Marketing Mozambique has an opening for a Supply Analyst based in Maputo City. This position directly supports daily decision-making in the commercial business of fuels, lubricants, and LPG in the country.

Whoever takes on this role monitors the entire supply chain, from drafting demand forecasts for energy products to final delivery at depots. The work also covers meticulous inventory control and monitoring terminal operations.

Daily operations aim to ensure products reach distribution points at the right time and in the required quantities. This prevents stockouts across the network and ensures that installed storage capacity is used efficiently without waste.

What you will do day-to-day

Your responsibilities in this position are divided into several operational and analytical fronts:

• Prepare supply planning: design supply plans for fuels, lubricants, and LPG, measure forecast accuracy, and propose corrections whenever demand reading errors are identified.
• Lead planning sessions: chair periodic alignment meetings with the Commercial, Finance, and Operations teams.
• Organize replenishment and contingencies: build plans to maintain constant product availability in depots and warehouses, creating contingency measures to manage any supply chain disruptions.
• Manage storage space: monitor available capacity in each facility with operators, ensuring optimized use of the company's depots and warehouses.
• Update inventory records: continuously input and verify stock data on Lynks and SAP platforms.
• Monitor cargo receipt: track supplier delivery routes to terminals, follow nominated vessel schedules, monitor cargo movements, and align reception with terminals and operators.
• Build dashboards and KPIs: create daily supply reports and performance indicators using tools such as Excel, Power BI, and SAP modules.
• Control logistics costs: monitor supply expenses, demurrage costs, storage, and logistics, identifying deviations from budget and issuing purchase requisitions accordingly.
