The role focuses on the conservation, reading, and technical repair of electrical networks at the airport complex in Maputo. Responsibilities range from the power supply system to the technical lighting of airfield runways.
This is a direct role within the electrical maintenance technical team, requiring daily on-site work and continuous monitoring of operational facilities.
What you will do
- Preventive circuit inspection: Regularly check the condition of power circuits and equipment at the airport complex, identifying signs of faults or breakdowns before facility interruptions occur.
- Preventive systems maintenance: Organize and execute scheduled maintenance actions on the infrastructure's electrical systems, ensuring constant equipment operation.
- Repair of electrical faults: Intervene directly in correcting and repairing faults and breakdowns identified in electrical panels and networks across the airport complex.
- Runway lighting maintenance: Ensure all technical runway lighting systems remain fully operational.
- Handling regulators and protections: Work directly with electrical current regulators and installed surge protection systems.
- Updating electrical schematics: Keep technical schematics of electrical panels properly updated to facilitate drawing consultation by any team member.
- Drafting technical reports: Write technical assessments regarding the condition of equipment and describe executed or planned interventions.

The position requires direct field work inside the airport facilities in Maputo. We are looking for a candidate with technical training who can handle electrical panels, circuits, and outdated schematics in a practical and rigorous manner.
